Ticking inside the new AW/20 LIATHACH is a true 21 jewel automatic movement, creating a contemporary timepiece that honors our watchmaking history. Powered by your motion, the movement has a 40-hour power reserve and can also be wound with the crown. Kartel’s LIATHACH uses a generous 41mm diameter case for a imposing but very wearable timepiece. An interior bezel allows easy display of minute while leaving plenty of room for the minimal date window and 2 chronograph sub-dials.

 

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT

The Miyota 8215 is a non-hacking twenty-one jewel three-hand with date movement with a uni-directional winding system (left rotation) with an accuracy of -20 to +40 seconds per day, and a power reserve of over 40 hours. The diameter of the movement is 26 mm and the thickness is 5.67 mm. It beats at 21,600 BPH or 3 Hz (6 half-cycles per second).[2][3] The movement has a 49 degree lift angle.

 

PRECISION ENGINEERED - STAINLESS STEEL CASING

Kartel uses SAE 304 grade stainless steel for its new generation of watch cases. It has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel making it ideal for the wide variety of situations a wrist watch will be expected to perform in. 304 grade steel is also desirable for its ease of sanitation, a real benefit when worn next to the skin for long periods.
